We will be working as a team to help ensure your child's continued development at P.S 179. The most successful education is one in which parents and teachers work together to support the student.  We look forward in working with you this school year.

MATH

November Math News!

Students have been learning on to multiply 3 digit by 2 digit numbers. In the upcoming topics, students will continue multiplying but they will be doing so using decimals. Please make sure that your child is fluent with their multiplication facts. If they are not, please have them create flash cards and practice everyday!

It is important that students also complete their math homework every night. If they struggle with anything in their homework, they should ask their teacher, so that together they can work on the problems.
